Web localization of the Nokia web site for Croatia in cooperation with company Mobis electronic d.o.o. required a development of the special software tools that enable easier and faster localization (translation) of the web pages. Nokia sends the localization packages in English through their distributor for local market - Mobis electronic. Once the pages, flash animations and images are put to their places Site Manager application is for the localization task status and file state control & management. The site currently contains over 13,000 files.

Standalone Access application built around the Site manager view and different modules for reports, refresh, export etc... Database is automatically refreshed when new pages are added, deleted or changed. User can save pages into localization packages, track the translators work, validation, manage statistical tools variables, count characters and produce the report that is the ground for the invoice. It showed as a very good tool in the everyday work that actually makes this demanding job possible.

On-line application developed in Microsoft® .NET technology used for reporting the errors on localized pages after the content is published. Application offers a secure login, ability to administer settings and track statistical values important for error reporting.
